A personal trainer has revealed her strict demands on clients – and says birthdays and weddings aren’t a good enough reason to skip their training. Natalie Vaughan has worked as a trainer for five years and says she is prepared to dump clients who don’t stick to their plans.

The 40-year-old decided to take expand her business during the coronavirus pandemic. She says that since then she she has helped 4,000 people get fit and lose weight, through her “non-nonsence approach”.

Natalie, from Blackpool in Lancashire, said: “People who don’t stick to their plan, I will refund them – I am ruthless. I am not nasty but I am just firm, people need to be held accountable.

“Health is wealth, you can’t go off routine, you need to be held accountable – your health is on the line.”

Natalie took her business – Natty V PT – online and social media in 2021 and says her job is her passion. She has no website and relies on word-of-mouth to keep her business afloat.

She said: “When I first started out, I did two years in a gym but then covid hit and people didn’t know what to do. I went online and within a few months I had 800 clients – I had no time to do anything.
